With my background in Kemetic yoga, wellness, and counseling, I strive to create a calming and transformative space that allows for deep self-exploration and meaningful change. As a licensed professional counselor, I bring years of experience in holistic and therapeutic practices to the counseling process. My journey from being an educator to becoming a licensed counselor, along with my dedication to mastering clinical hypnotherapy, reflects my commitment to growth and providing the best care for my clients. I deeply understand mental health, wellness, and healing, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. With a background in Kemetic yoga, mindfulness, and self-hypnosis, I integrate these practices into therapy, creating a calming, empowering, and transformative space where you can heal and grow.

What’s your communication style?

My communication style is warm, down-to-earth, and honest. I hold space without judgment, and I’m not afraid to lovingly challenge you when needed. I meet clients where they are and create a grounded environment where we can explore what’s really going on—mind, body, and spirit. I blend traditional talk therapy with holistic tools like mindfulness, creative expression, breathwork, and somatic awareness so that our sessions feel personal, not clinical.

How do you help clients achieve their goals?

I help clients reconnect to themselves first. We clarify what’s working, what’s not, and what’s keeping you stuck. From there, we build a custom plan using a mix of reflective dialogue, emotional processing, mind-body techniques, and culturally attuned care. Whether your goal is managing anxiety, breaking unhealthy patterns, improving relationships, or simply feeling more like yourself again—I’m here to support sustainable, soul-centered change. You won't just get coping tools—you’ll build a new foundation for how you live and relate to yourself.

What was your journey to becoming a provider?

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years as an educator—mentoring youth, leading classrooms, and creating healing spaces through art, writing, and wellness. That work taught me how deeply we all need to feel seen and supported, especially those navigating systemic challenges, trauma, or generational stress. Over time, my path expanded into therapy, holistic healing, and mind-body work. I created HoneyBeNatural as both a wellness studio and a safe haven for folks who want to heal in ways that honor their whole self—not just the symptoms.

What is a first session like with you?

Our first session is a judgment-free zone where we slow things down. You’ll have space to share what’s been going on in your life, what led you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. I’ll ask thoughtful questions—not to analyze you, but to understand your unique story and needs. Together, we’ll co-create a plan that feels doable, aligned, and personalized. You’ll leave with more clarity, not confusion.
